Comment: The E.E. Just Environmental Institute, named after an eminent African American cell biologist and Kimball Union (1903) and Dartmouth graduate (1907), is an integrated summer environmental studies program developed by Kimball Union Academy. Kimball Union is a college preparatory boarding and day college preparatory school for 310 students located in Meriden, NH. It is a private non-profit IRS designated 501 (c) 3 organization. The summer institute will build upon the already established environmental education program implemented by KUA in 1995 under the direction of nationally recognized educator Dr. Dean Goodwin, Director of Environmental Education at Kimball Union.
