Description: Authority established under the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 to provide assistance in (A) implementing the recommendations of the Northern Great Plains Rural Development Commission established by the Northern Great Plains Rural Development Act (7 U.S.C. 2661 note Public Law 103-318; (B) acquiring or developing land; (c) constructing or equipping a highway, road, bridge or facility; (D) carrying out other economic development activities; or (E) conducting research activities described in (A) through (D).

Northern Great Plains Regional Authority. The Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act (7 U.S.C 1921 et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following "Subtitle G-Northern Great Plains Regional Authority. Actual earmark includes rescissions. Congress provided $1,478,000 in FY 2005. There were no obligations made against the funding.
