Description: The Pacific Islands Committee of the Ninth Circuit Judicial Council oversees, designs, arranges and ensures the delivery of these training programs and actively participates in the programs to guarantee training is provided that is responsive to educational needs. This training program was a result of an assessment that was conducted of the court systems in the American territories and the freely associated states which identified specific training needs for the non-lawyer judges, legally trained judges, and court staff in these islands.
