Earmarks in Authorization Bills

On this page you can find information on earmarks for which there were expenditures in 2005 from selected authorization bills.

This database is not designed, and cannot accurately be used, to identify the congressional sponsors of earmarks. In addition, the recipient listed in the database may not in all cases represent the ultimate beneficiary of the earmark.

Click on the Public Law number to view the earmarks in an authorization bill.

*NOTE: The amount represents the multi-year funding commitment, not the expenditure in 2005 alone. In the status column, a status of "certified" indicates that the agency head or his or her designee has certified that the data the agency has submitted is the fullest possible disclosure of earmarks according to guidance.
